PRESERVING LIFE,
A LITER AT TIME.

/// BRIEF

The Reason to Design: Water Stress
Water stress poses serious threats to human life, livelihoods and economic stability. Unless direct action, Zero Hour is imminent (so called when a location’s water reserves run out due to its misuse).

/// CONTENT

• 9 million Mexicans do not have access to drinking water.

• Agriculture and farming are the sectors that waste it the most

• Each year, more than 5 million cubic meters of water go to waste

• Despite this risk, the authorities fail to protect this resource

/// PEBBLE

Intelligent system for water saving Pebble is a device designed to measure and regulate the use of water in the main intakes of a home,
focusing on efficiency and consumption, it has a limit mark of 60 liters of water per day.
Helping to create awareness and showing the immediate impact of water saving.

/// MONITORING

/// SONAR SESOR

2 ultrasonic sensors at the back of the device detect water flow in a determined intake.

/// MEASURE

It learns the user’s consumption habits in order to provide alternatives about the 60 liters of water per day mark.

/// WARNING LIGHT

When unusual activity is detected, a light will turn on indicating that water is being wasted.

/// FUNCIONALITY

Pebble is designed to be a ready to use device, without the need of any extra installations it provides users with information at anytime, anywhere.

Preserving life, a liter at a time.

/// DATA INTERPRETATION

When the sensors are placed, the information will be transfer to the main station and the mobile app where the user can check:

∙ Number of sensors
∙ Sensor configuration
∙ Consumption record and alerts

Thanks to this data, users can start to plan their daily activities.
